Budget Control - Revisions

Alpha License: AGPL-3 ecosoft-odoo/budgeting

This module is used for copying budget control documents in order to keep track of plans in each version and allows you to view previous documents. The previous documents will be inactive and will only show the latest version. If you need to compare changes in the budget control, you can check it at Budget Revision Monitoring.

This is an alpha version, the data model and design can change at any time without warning. Only for development or testing purpose, do not use in production. More details on development status

Usage

For using this module, budget control must have a status of “cancel” before proceeding. The steps are as follows:

  1. Go to the Budgeting menu
  2. Select budget > Action > New Revision or In budget control you will see the New Revision button.
  3. Click New Revision button. it will create a new budget control by copying it from the original document.

Note

In the budget control form view, a new tab is added that lists the previous revisions, with the date they were made obsolete and the user who performed the action.
